Why is Days making so many casting cuts by letting so many actors/actresses leave?

Well no offense to people who like those characters, but I don't think they are that important of characters on the show. They may be trying to make some room on the shows to get actors from OLTL or AMC that will be out of jobs. I am sure there are some popular actors Days would LOVE to get and with so many of us losing our favorite soaps, I am sure we would like to see those actors on aonther soap doing well.
