Help with this weird interview question for this org in college?

I asked my friend who took the interview before me (its a literary org, so people here are more liberal) and he said that one of the questions are "how much do you wanna be in this org?" then they left it up to him. So he burned his harry potter book that he had with him, and they told him to stop and that it was ok. I'm panicking cause i dunno what to do? any crazy or far out suggestions?
