Can they make an IEP and send me to a school I don't want to go to?

Okay, so my mother passed away in December of last year, and I am 16 years old. After she died, I went into a whirlwind of hell. My grades plummeted, I was getting into fights, and I hated everyone.n Now 33 days ago my Special Education administrator brought up a special school, and I was told I didn't have to go if I did not want to. I was desperate to pass, and so agreed to go for the rest the year, provided I could go back the next year. Now, in January I was diagnosed with Epilepsy, and I see a therapist every Tuesday and get dismissed an hour early. The school informed me I would not be held responsible for those days (meaning losing points on my grade for them). And so I missed a total of 8 out of 33 days, all of which were for appointments or the two days when i was really sick. Now I HATE this school. I am stuck with all different grades in the same class, ie: Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors, and seniors. All in the same class. The kids there are the rejects of public schools, and I don't feel as though I should be there, and refuse to go back. Is there anything I can do to get my way?
