Why does she say this stuff?

Ok, so I basically know for a fact that this girl thinks I'm attractive and funny and smart because I heard her say it to her friends before with her knowing. So she knows I like her and she says "oh my self esteem plummeted when I found out" and "he grosses me out" and its really awkward because she clearly doesn't think that. Why does she come off as so uninterested?
